Brittaney Austin, BA/Management & Psychology

Brittaney Austin is a Director who supports the core values and daily operations at The Merit School Arlington. Brittaney believes early childhood is the foundation for all future learning, behavior, and health. She has over ten years’ experience in early childhood education, special education, and psychology. She is culturally competent and prides herself on creating diverse and inclusive environments for children to thrive. Brittaney holds a BA in Management and Psychology from Chatham University. Brittaney completed a study abroad program in Berlin Germany for International Business and Organizational Psychology. She is pursuing her PhD in Infant and Early Childhood Development from Fielding University.

Brittaney is a native of Pittsburgh, PA making her a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. Brittaney is a dedicated mother of three tiny humans, and a dedicated wife of one big human. She enjoys traveling the world, and spending time with her family. She appreciates children’s books, and time by the ocean. She loves to sing, dance, and write short stories and poetry.

She warmly invites families to visit The Merit School Arlington to learn more about the program and their commitment to serving children and creating a space for children to thrive as their authentic self.
