OUR SPECIALTY CLASSES OFFERED

SPANISH

Our Spanish teacher presents language concepts and vocabulary that is familiar to the child’s life experience during her weekly class.    Hispanic culture is incorporated through holiday celebrations and special events. The quarterly parent newsletter outlines the goals, vocabulary, songs and special projects for the month.  Teachers participate in the classes and reinforce Spanish words and phrases in their programs.

MUSIC

Our music teacher presents the joy, fun and magic of music in the weekly classes.  The children practice their listening, moving, singing, playing and composition skills as they interact with songs, music and instruments.  The quarterly newsletter keeps parents informed of the musical concepts to be taught as well as family activities to promote music appreciation.

TECHNOLOGY

Our technology teacher conducts a weekly technology class in our computer lab for our Kindergarten,  First, Second, Third , Fourth and Fifth grade students.  The concepts presented in class are reinforced by the classroom teacher through activities that integrate classroom knowledge with computer skills.
