My name is Adama Alpha, and I would like to introduce myself as your Director. I have a Master of Science in Early Childhood Administration, Management, and Leadership from Walden University. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for 16 years with experience in program evaluation using standardized national tools to assess program quality. I also have several years of experience as an instructional coach and was the Program Coordinator for a Safezone program that serves youth from 11 to 18 years of age.
I chose to work with children because I believe working with children is a calling, and I find purpose in my work with the children who need me the most. My favorite part of the day is mealtime. It is an excellent opportunity for dialogue and to obtain insight into what the child is learning and thinking. The intentional push for academic achievement drives and inspires me daily as an educator, knowing that the meaningful experience I provide contributes to a child’s developmental growth.
