My name is Andrea Avila, and I am the Director of The Merit School of Broadlands. I have a Child Development Associates Certificate (CDA), and I am currently studying Early Childhood Education at Northern Virginia Community College. I have eight years of experience working in Education.
I was born and raised in Ecuador, where I discovered my passion for teaching and educating young children. My goal is to deliver quality education to children of all ages with the love and nurture they need to meet their milestones successfully. I wish for them to be successful and happy, and I believe being good role models will lead them to achieve this goal.
I am a mommy of an amazing seven-year-old, Mila. We love reading, crafting, and making art. We enjoy adventures and spending time hiking.
I eagerly look forward to greeting and meeting students and families.
