My name is Ciara Callen and I would like to introduce myself as your center’s Director. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the Shenandoah Mountains with my husband and our Labrador, Leo. I also enjoy shopping, spending time with my family, and gardening.
I graduated from York Tech in 2004 and received my CDA after completing the Early Childhood Education and Development program. With more than 10 years of experience working with children, I have taught Preschool and Junior Kindergarten before moving into the Assistant Director position. I joined the Merit School family in 2012 after moving to Northern Virginia.
I am committed to create high-quality programs and experiences for all of our children. I am looking forward to working with our Merit School families and children to develop positive relationships and providing a safe and engaging environment.
