My name is Sherry Roberson, and I would like to introduce myself as the Principal. I have worked in the education field for more than 28 years and have been with The Merit School for more than 19 years, serving in roles as assistant teacher, teacher, and Assistant Director. I am originally from Virginia, and I hold an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Virginia Community College. My husband and I have four children and two furry children. I enjoy relaxing and spending quality time with my family.
I chose to work in the early childhood field because my passion is working with children and ensuring they have the best atmosphere in which to learn and grow. Each day I am excited to see the students arrive at school excited to learn and I am motivated by our ability here at The Merit School to provide an excellent and enriching academic environment, as well as a beautiful place to spend their day.
