My name is Tatyana Washington, and I would like to introduce myself as the Assistant Director at the Merit School of Broadlands. I was born and raised in Leesburg, Virginia. I currently attend Northern Virginia Community College where I will receive my associates in Child Development. I have worked in the Early Childhood Education field for more than three years, serving in roles as an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher.
My favorite thing about working with children is their contagious playful energy! I enjoy stepping into the classroom and acting silly with all the kids. They are always exploring and learning new things, and I love being a part of that process of learning.
