We enrolled when we moved to the area in February 2020. I had dropped my children off (2yo and 6mo at the time) at a very well-reviewed in-home daycare and immediately felt uneasy, even though our previous daycare was also in-home. I spent the day researching and touring other centers in the area, quickly finding comfort and ease at Merit of Old Town.
Four years later, my children are now 5.5yo in the Pre-K class and 3.5yo in the Prep class. They have met all milestones, and my daughter is incredibly prepared to enter Kindergarten this fall; all credit goes to the staff at Merit of Old Town. They provide a safe, clean, welcoming, encouraging and supportive environment for my children to succeed.
The administration and staff at Merit of Old Town are excellent. They are open communicators about the curriculum, the path your child is on, how they are excelling and if any issues come up. I never have to pry for answers, they are very transparent.
They also host a couple social functions throughout the year, which we love as they encourage my children to view “school” as a fun place to be and has allowed our family to connect and form friendships with other families.
We cannot say enough positive things about Merit of Old Town and highly recommend if you are looking for childcare that feels like family!
